My name is Madalena Lucas, a Portuguese artist and illustrator based in Castelo Branco. With a deep fascination for emotion, memory, and the beauty found in everyday moments, I create works that bridge the visible and the invisible.
My practice moves between oil painting, mixed media, and painting from observation. Each piece is a visual poem — layered with texture, light, and personal narrative. I believe art should not only be seen, but felt.
